Linguistic Support

All the Higher Grade qualifications that can be taken on the mobility programme include English training modules, approximately 1-5 % of the training is bilingual. However, in order to promote the provision of foreign language training in the centre's degrees, the preparation, monitoring and presentation of the degree project is carried out through the F.C.T. (Traineeship) is carried out in English. In this way, the minimum number of hours required by the Department of Education of the Community of Madrid is doubled.

In relation to the Mobility Programme, CAMPUS FP offers its students the possibility of taking complementary training to the official cycles that include language courses in levels within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR, or CEFR in English).

OUTGOING STUDENTS

The school's language policy with regard to the students benefiting from the mobility programme will be established on the basis of the selection made of the students and the level of language they start from:

Once the potential beneficiary group of the programme has been selected:

A diagnosis will be made of their needs in terms of language skills as well as the level required for mobility.

Individualized tutorials will be carried out in which the student will receive information in this respect and the necessary resources will be provided to reach the appropriate level (support classes, intensive language courses, etc.)

Students will be provided with all the information related to subsidized language training from which they can benefit.

INCOMING STUDENTS

The CAMPUS FP protocol for the reception of students who carry out the mobility is articulated through the Head of International Studies. He/she will be the reference figure for both the hosted students and the person in charge of tutoring the mobility of the students in their school of origin. The hosted students will receive the classes in Spanish and will be integrated into the operation of the class, since one of the points of interest of this type of mobility program is the learning of the language of the destination country.

If necessary, the Head of International Studies will provide support during the first few days. This person has communication skills in English. The CAMPUS FP network centres also have teaching staff with skills in other European languages, should their mobilisation be necessary.

OLS

OLS PLATFORM

The Online Language Support (OLS) has been designed to help participants in the Erasmus+ programme to improve their knowledge of the language they will use to work, study or develop their mobility abroad, thus enabling them to make the most of this experience, since lack of language skills is one of the main obstacles to participation in the mobility or training opportunities offered by this programme.

The OLS platform is available in the following languages: BG, CS, DA, DE, EL, EN, ES, ET, FI, FR, GA, HR, HU, IT, LT, LV, MT, NL, PL, PT, RO, SK, SL and SV.

The OLS platform is available at the following link: http://erasmusplusols.eu/
